View Conference / ViewFest

A few weeks back the 12th View International Computer Graphics Conference took place in Turin, Italy.

We were delighted to be one of the lucky 19 finalists nominated for the View Award 2011, as part of the ViewFest Digital Movie Festival. As they say it was “I più bei video digitali da tutto il mondo!” (The most beautiful digital videos from all over the world!)

A massive congratulations to everyone involved in the conference/festival, we wish we could have been there.

Unfortunately ‘Noise Trade’ didn’t pick up an award, but congratulations to all the winners, especially the excellent ‘A Morning Stroll’ by Grant Orchard, which picked up the ‘Best Character’ award, and was recently seen at our Digital Animation Screening in September.

Check out all the nominations and winners here:

TTT T

Garth recently designed this beautiful T Shirt for instrumental noisenik band Three Trapped Tigers.

You may/should/must recognise the design as our robot friend from the ‘Noise Trade’ music video we made for the band. The design on the right was the other option for the shirt.

You can get this luxury 100% cotton item from TTT themselves, as they tour around our fine and green lands.

After eating excessive amounts of ice cream and listening to Ocean Colour Scene we thought our Saturday couldn’t get any better, until Noise Trade was posted on Drawn! Check it out here.

Nice to see our video a few posts down from David O’Reilly and an Art Spiegelman interview, both of which are worth investing your hard earned time into.
